In 2022, AMI Productions came to us with an idea.  They wanted to feature Friends 4 Kindness in their documentary series that takes a closer look at unique stories that are relevant to Canadians of all abilities.  

Discover the heartwarming journey of Kaitlin, a high school student whose 18th birthday sparked a global wave of love and support after her mom, Nicole, rallied friends and family to send cards. From receiving a card signed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to over 6,000 messages of kindness pouring in from 34 countries, Kaitlin's story transformed her life and inspired the creation of Friends 4 Kindness. Dedicated to celebrating individuals struggling with social connections, Friends 4 Kindness advocates for inclusion and acceptance through various initiatives such as online buddy programs, Unbirthday Parties, and a card-writing program. Supported by generous donors, Friends 4 Kindness aims to spread love and positivity to those who need it most.
