Fostering inclusion, acceptance & belonging.
At Friends 4 Kindness, we recognize that many individuals, particularly those living with disabilities, often experience feelings of isolation and loneliness. Too many lack the companionship of genuine friendship. That’s why at Friends 4 Kindness we are dedicated to fostering authentic connections, through our programs, to bridge the gaps left by traditional community initiatives.
Join us in making a difference through meaningful social engagement.
The Unbirthday Party
In 2019, Friends 4 Kindness proudly hosted our inaugural Unbirthday Party, extending a warm welcome to over 700 children and adults from across Ontario, Canada. The event gained national attention, and ever since, we've been deeply moved by the countless pictures and notes from attendees. They've shared heartwarming tales of forging friendships at our Unbirthday Party, full out gatherings and hangouts beyond our event.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Unbirthday Party has become a cherished annual event, offered completely free of charge, including giving out loot bags, sweet treats and live entertainment. We want to ensure that more friendships flourish each year, spreading joy and connection throughout our community.

Birthday Card Program
In 2018, our founder, Nicole, made a heartfelt request for birthday cards to celebrate her daughter's 18th birthday. The response was overwhelming, with over 6000 cards pouring in from around the globe, including a special one signed by the Prime Minister of Canada.
Inspired by this outpouring of kindness, our Birthday Card program ensures that everyone feels celebrated with love and warmth during their birthday month. Currently, we have a group of 80 volunteers that send out birthday cards each month to individuals across the country!
